Visiting Charnwood
Charnwood is at the heart of England in the northern most part of the County of Leicestershire. Being centrally placed it is well served by road, rail and air. The closest point of access to the motorway network is Junction 23 of the M1, a short distance to the west of Loughborough, Charnwoods main town, while the London to Sheffield, Midland Main Line high speed rail link serves Loughborough station. Just to the north, the Borough is served by the East Midlands Airport to cater for visitors from further afield.
